The BBC is too big! (So access it while you can!)

The latest political consensus (something that everyone agrees on) is that the BBC is too big! The argument is that the BBC has grown and grown and now it’s just not fair because private news and media companies cannot compete against it. How can newspapers and news channels compete against the BBC when readers and viewers can get the information free from the BBC? The cuts are coming! That’s why we should be making the most of the material from the BBC before it vanishes – some reports are saying that the website will be halved in size.
So, before it vanishes, go and take a look at the video clip archive on the BBC Learning Zone Broadband Class Clips page. If you search in the ‘Secondary’ clips under ‘English’ you’ll see a variety of English language video clips available. It’s here.
