Listening: How to increase food production to meet the growing world population

What I’ve noticed about students (yes, that’s you guys!) is that, generally speaking, you don’t do enough work outside class! That’s why I keep hassling you with exercises and links in these posts! So here’s another classroom activity I’ve done recently which I thought I’d share. I did a listening the other day in class about world food production. Do you ever worry about there not being enough food in the future to feed everyone in the world?  Well, it appears that there are things we can do to increase food production, especially in developing countries. This is a good exercise for advanced students and the questions will guide your listening.  I thought I’d start a listening exercises page and add similar exercises in the future. It’s here.
